Lipids in diet and health

27 November 2025 10:00 - 28 November 2025 12:45, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Synopsis

Evidence for emerging roles of lipids in several areas of health, and the protective effects of particular classes of lipids and their metabolites is growing. These developments have implication for the prevention and improvement of health conditions including those with underlying inflammation, neurological abnormalities or deficiencies, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, and in supporting the immune system and promoting healthy ageing across the life course. In addition, developments in lipid pharmacokinetics, functionality, and bioavailability have the potential to support human health through improving current lipid interventions. As such, this area has attracted interest from industry and pharma in addition to academia and non-profit organisations.

This multidisciplinary meeting aims to highlight cutting edge research and present the latest developments and technological advancements in the field. In addition, this meeting aims to foster collaboration between industry and academia, and support development of early career researchers.
