David Mottram is Emeritus Professor of Pharmacy at Liverpool John Moores University. Since 1985 he has specialised in the subject of doping in sport and has also been involved in the development and delivery of medical services at major sporting events, including the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Rio 2016. He is currently designing and delivering online education programmes for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). David is the editor of the book 鈥淒rugs in Sport鈥�, first published in 1988 and is now in its seventh edition.
