The Mid-Southern Counties Local Section is delighted to invite you on a fungi, fruit, foliage and flowers foraging course organized by WildFood UK.
The afternoon will begin with a short introduction from your instructor about the UK Foraging Code. and course itinerary.
Enjoy a relaxed walk as your instructor teaches you to safely identify edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms. The 2.5-hour foraging experience includes a break for a seasonal homemade refreshment, like Hogweed & Wild Garlic Soup or Elderflower Champagne.
After the walk, we’ll share a Wild Food meal featuring foraged treats and a dish made with what we've gathered. The menu changes with the seasons—fresh greens in spring, mushrooms in autumn.
A few days later, you'll receive detailed course notes by email, including links and info about the species we explored.
